Shannon & Denen’s Engagement Story
We went out for dinner together one evening, then afterwards Denen took me to a lookout over Palmerston North (NZ) Where we were looking out of the evening lights and then he got down on one knee and proposed 🙂
What location did you choose to get married? What made you choose this venue?
“We got married in Hamilton (NZ) at my parents house out in the long grass for the ceremony then we had the reception in the parents barn. We choose to get married here as we thought it would be nice to get married at home.”
How did you choose your wedding gown?
“I knew that I wanted a dress that had a cool design that covered my back and that I also wanted to have a decent length train.”
How did you feel in your dress?
“I really liked my dress, it was really good quality and defiantly felt like I was a bride on my wedding day with this dress!”
What made you choose JJsHouse?
“I has seen some really nice dresses at JJsHouse that were also very reasonable prices!”
What was your favorite moment of the day?
“My favorite moment from the day was just getting to marry my best friend and knowing that we will start a new life with him by myside forever and getting to celebrate that with all our friends and family!”

“Beautiful, Fun, Special”
What’s your best tip for dressing for the big day to share with other brides?
“Just to wear something that you feel comfortable in and the dress that you like!”
